17 Member States offer tax incentives for electric company cars; 5 Member States have added incentives for charging infrastructure (Sweden, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, Lithuania).
● For individuals, communities and governments: 70% of the total price can be subsidized;
● For companies and public charging stations (power ≤50 kW): large companies can receive a subsidy of 35%, medium-sized companies a subsidy of 45%, and small companies a subsidy of 55%;
● For companies and public charging piles (power>50 kW): a subsidy of 30%.
● For municipalities with a population of less than 5,000, the subsidy amount will increase.
● The cost reimbursement to the equipment owner is 80% of the total cost.
● The maximum reimbursement limit for each natural person is 1,500 euros.
● If the application is made in a public area, the limit can be increased to 8,000 euros.
● Installation costs from January 1, 2024 are now reimbursed.
● In addition, personal tax relief for taxpayers is provided, with a maximum tax relief of 3,000 euros.
● The Belgian government also provides tax relief and subsidies for the installation of charging piles.
● Installation of charging posts in companies will enjoy a 100% fee reduction.
● Private installation of private charging posts will also be deductible from personal taxes, currently equivalent to 15% of the installation costs.
● In addition, local governments such as Flanders also provide additional subsidies for the installation of charging facilities for new energy vehicles.
● Electric vehicle home charging subsidy: applicable to owners or tenants installing home charging facilities in their homes.
● Workplace charging subsidy: applicable to electric vehicle charging facilities for companies. The installation subsidy can cover up to 75% of the cost, with a maximum subsidy of 350 pounds per plug (up to 40).
● By the end of 2024, the purchase of the following charging infrastructure (for private use) will be subsidized:
● Smart charging cable: 600 euros.
● Wall charging posts for single-family or two-family houses: 600 euros.
● Wall charging posts in residential areas (as separate devices): 900 euros.
● Wall charging posts in residential areas (as integrated devices with load management): 1,800 euros.
● Provinces and communities also provide additional incentives.
● A 50% tax deduction is available for the installation of an electric vehicle charging station at home (up to SEK 50,000 for labor and material costs).
● The "Ladda bilen" subsidy applies to the installation of AC charging in apartment buildings and workplaces. The subsidy covers up to 50% of the costs (up to SEK 15,000 per charging point).
● Subsidy for private charging infrastructure:
● For wallboxes or charging cables: up to EUR 1,500.
● For shared charging systems in multi-user buildings: up to EUR 3,000.
● Subsidy for public charging infrastructure: up to EUR 10,000.
